What is the Annual Enrollment Period?

Annual Enrollment Period is the time period that Medicare sets aside every year for people to make changes to their Advantage Plans and Prescription Drug Plans.

The period begins on October 15 and ends at midnight on December 7.

Any plan changes you make during this time will begin on January 1.  In addition, you do not need to disenroll from your old plan as the system will automatically cancel your old plan at the end of the year.
